The Road Home

Most of us are fortunate enough to have a road home. It's familiar. As we travel down it, memories flood our thoughts. Relief and excitement begin to build. We know we will soon be in the place were warmth and love surround us.

Over the course of our life the road will change. The death of one or both parents, changes the road home. Moving to a distant land, changes the road home. Illness of a loved one, changes the road home.

The road home—once familiar is no longer.

The road home may change but for the fortunate, there will always be a road home.
